Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the impact of industrialization to the american in 19th century in the novel the wonderful wizard of oz by L. Frank Baum. The research used descriptive qualitative method. The source of the data from this research are words, phrass, sentences, action, dialogue between characters or quotations that contain industialization in the novel " The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz ". The data were collected through reading novels and internet. The first analysis of this research is about the kinds of industrialization. The second analysis is about the impact of Industrialization and reflected in this novel. It is found in the novel there in the social life, economic life and politic. From the analysis of the research, result were faound the impact of industrialization in the wonderful wizard of oz.
