THE STUDENTS' ABILITY IN PERFORMING ACTIVE AND PASSIVE VOICE IN SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE

Abstract

This research is about active and passive voice in future tense because It is quite difficult to perform and recognize the passive one. The population of this reseach, are 40 students of second year of MTs Al-Jumhuriyah Sei Rotan in 2018-2019 School Year.. This research is done in order to find out the students’ accuracy, the reason behind the inaccuracy, and the comparison between producing and perceiving the problem discussed. The methods in doing this research are both quantitative and library research. Some theories that related to this research are also used, such as, production of passive voice in English itself. The result of this research has revealed that students are better in perceiving than producing as 81.5% students are succeed in problem discussed and 90.5% students are succeed in perceiving passive voice in future tense.
