dc.description.abstractThe purpose in this research wants to make the differences between by using presentation, practice and production learning’s technique and without using presentation, practice and production learning’s technique. The writer conduct this research on the grade X students of SMA Swasta Cerdas Bangsa. They are divide into two class. The first in control group account 21 students and the second is experimental group account 21 students. Therefore, she took all of the students as the sample. They are account 42 students. For a long this research, the writer found out the significant effect which one is in experimental class by using presentation, practice and production learning’s technique, the students achieve a good score but in control class is low score. The highest score by using presentation, practice and production learning’s technique was 92 and without using presentation, practice and production learning’s technique was 63 scores. In this study, the result of computing the t-test shows that the t-observed is greatest than t-table. It can be showed as follow: t-observed is 9.18 and t-table is 1.684. It means that t-observed is the greatest than t-table (9.18 > 1.684) with df 40 the level of significance ά 0.05. After the analyzing the data, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It can concluded that there is significant effect of the using presentation, practice and production learning’s technique on the student’s achievement in descriptive text. Therefore, the writer suggests to the teacher English to apply the using presentation, practice and production learning’s technique in teaching process especially in writing descriptive text.en_US
