THE USE OF PICTURE SERIES AS MEDIA TO DEVELOP STUDENTS’ ABILITY IN WRITING PROCEDURE TEXT AT SMK SWASTAAL WASHLIYAH 12 SEI RAMPAH

Abstract

The Thesis entitled the use of picture series ass media to develop students’ ability in writing procedure text, which aims to determine the ability of students to write procedure text. With thie the researcher used a picture series as a medium to developed students’ abilities in writing the procedure text. In this study reseachers used the experimental design method. The population of this studied was all students’ of class XI SMK Swasta AlWashliyah 12 SeiRampah which was 20 students and the sample 40 students as well. This research take whole classes of XI grade as sample, there were XI A as an experimental class, and XI B as control group class. This research used pf data T-test, which was Pre-text – Post-test. The Object of this research was the second year students of SMK Swasta Al Washliyah 12 SeiRampah. Based on the analysis, the students’ achievement in learning writing procedure was very good, it was proved the result of the test given to them with the average score : 77,12.
