dc.description.abstractThe aim of the research is to find out whe their teaching vocabulary by using method show and tell (s&t) is better than teaching vocabulary by using conventional way to the second year students of SMP Al Washliyah 24 MEDAN of 2022/2023 academic year.in this research,the researcher used quantitative method and type of the research was experimental research.the population of this research consisted there are 4 class,total numbers of sample Will be 70 students,consists of 2 class in this research the researcher Will use cluster random sampling technique.the researcher take VIII-1 consists of 35 students as experimental class and VIII-2 consists of 35 students as the controlled class.the researcher used the instrument multiple choice after dinding the means score standard deviation and standard error of two groups,the researcher applied the statistic t-test,the data was analyzed by using t-test .the finding showed that the value t=(t-observed)was higher than the value of t -table .it stated that teaching vocabulary by using method show and tell (s&t) is better conventional way by the second year students of SMP Al Washliyah 24 Medan in 2022/2023 academic year.After testing hypothesisof the research in also stated that hypothesis is accepted.en_US
