Abstract: | Powtoon is a technology and information-based learning media that makes it easier for students to accept the material because of its various animation features. The purpose of this research is to (1) determine the validity of teaching materials using the problem based learning model on the theme of my daily assignments with the help of Powtoon media in class II of Singosari Deli Tua Private Elementary School. (2) Knowing the practicality of teaching materials using the problem based learning model on the theme of my daily assignments with the help of Powtoon media in class II of Singosari Deli Tua Private Elementary School. (3) Knowing the effectiveness of teaching materials using the problem based learning model on the theme of my daily assignments with the help of Powtoon media in class II of Singosari Deli Tua Private Elementary School. This type of research is development research with the ADDIE model. Validation tests were carried out by Media Experts, Material Experts, Teaching Material Experts and RPP Experts, Practicality Tests were carried out by Teachers and Students, and Teaching Material Effectiveness was carried out by students filling in the question sheets given by the researcher. The results of the research found that media expert validation obtained a result of 3.5 in the very good category, material expert validation obtained a result of 3.6 in the very good category, validation of teaching materials obtained a result of 3.6 in the very good category, and lesson plan expert validation obtained a result of 3.7 very good, based on this, the teaching materials developed can be said to be valid for use. The teacher's practicality test results obtained a score of 3.7 in the very good category and the students' practicality test results obtained a result of 3.5 in the very good category. Based on this, the teaching materials are said to be practical for use in the teaching and learning process. The results of the effectiveness test carried out by distributing questions to students obtained results namely 92% of students were declared to have passed the KKM, so the teaching materials were declared effective for use in the teaching and learning process. |
