dc.description.abstractFilm as a work of art had several elements of art in order to fulfill spiritual needs which not only serves to entertain the audience but also to provide some kind of education or knowledge about certain things. The data used in this study was analyze a film entitled Mockingbird Don’t Sing by Harry Bromley Davenport and written by Daryl Haney. The main purpose of this study was to describe violence against children, the main character’s traumatic behaviors and the cause of the main character’s traumatic behaviors due to violence against children or child abuse. The method used was qualitative method. The data collection was by watching movies repeatedly and then find the identified data. The theory used to analyze the data used psychological approach. After analyzing the data, it was found that there forms of violence such as feeling always wrong, The beating and Taking the anything by force. The traumatic behavior such a sudden acting or feeling repeated traumatic events, psychological reactivity when exposure, recalling distressing events and irritability or anger outbursts. The latter is the cause of trauma such as extreme isolation and physical and non-physical violence.en_US
