The objective of the research was to analyse EFL students’ perceptions of the use of love songs as integrated media in listening skills. Listening is a fundamental step in mastering English; however, it is often neglected and insufficiently taught in the classroom. Preliminary observations and interviews with one of the eighth-grade students at MTs Mamiyai Al- Ittihadiyah revealed that listening is rarely taught effectively, with teachers focusing more on theory than practical application. This research employed a qualitative approach with data collected through open-ended questionnaires. The findings showed that most students responded very positively to the use of love songs as a medium for learning listening. Love songs were considered helpful in understanding English vocabulary and structures more naturally and enhanced students' ability to comprehend context and emotional expressions. Furthermore, students felt more interested and motivated as the songs reflected teenage life and were emotionally engaging. It can be concluded that love songs are a relevant, enjoyable, and effective alternative medium for improving students’ listening skills at the junior high school levelen_US
