Improving students' descriptive writing skill through picture slide media of eleventh grade at SMK Yapim Medan

Abstract

This research aimed to improve descriptive writing skill Activities through the Implementation of describe picture slide media in the class XI AP 2 Students of SMK Yapim Medan. This research was a Class Action Research that implementation the past two cycles with the subject class XI AP 2 Students of SMK Yapim Medan that amounted to 31 students .Data collection techniques were the planning, action,observation,and reflection .Data analysis technique was quantitative data analysis with a percentage. This analysis was done by processing the score vocational high school tourism, calculate the percentage of each indicator and average overall indicators, presents the data, and draw conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of descriptive writing skill through picture slide media. Activities of Class XI AP 2 Students of SMK Yapim Medan as evidenced by an increase in scores on each of the indicators of writing descriptive text Activities from cycle I to cycle II, as well as an increase in average score Accounting Learning Activities from the cycle I of 71% to 84,09% in cycle II.
