dc.description.abstractThis research was aim at improving the students' reading skills by using the QUESTION-ANSWER-RELATIONSHIP (QAR)Strategy. This research aims to help students improve their reading skills. The subject of this research is grade X of SMA SWASTA NURUL AMALIYAH TanjungMorawa in the academic year 2020/2021. The design of this research is classroom action research. The data analysis of this research uses qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative data was taken from diaries, interviews, and observation sheets. Quantitative data was taken from the test results.The test carried out are Pre-test and Post-test. The classroom action research design consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, and reflection. The researcher can conclude that the use of the QUESTION-ANSWER-RELATIONSHIP (QAR) Strategy can be seen from the increase in Cycle I to Cycle II. This improvement is shown when using cycle II. The Implementation of QUESTION-ANSWER-RELATIONSHIP (QAR) was effective to improving the students' reading skills for be betteren_US
