The Effectiveness of Using Kamusku Application to Improve Students' Pronunciation Ability at Mts Al-Washliyah Jati Rejo

Abstract

The objective of the research was found out the Effect of using kamusku application for students' pronunciation skill at MTs Al-Washliyah Jati Rejo. The method was quantitative experimental research. The experimental research designed were used two classes which were taught two different techniqueses. The experimental class was taught with using kamusku application on android, and the controlled class was taught without using kamusku application. The populations in VIII grade students' of MTs. Al-Washliyah Jati Rejo consist of 50 students : the sample was 50 students' ( 25 students experimental class and 25 students controlled class). In this study, the researcher wanted to try to provide Kamusku Application to help students' learn about Pronunciation. Based on calculations, the averege Experimental class is 75,2 and the average control class 59,6. Based on the result of the study, it can be conclude that there is an increase in Pronunciation students' through using kamusku application. Researcher hope that the result of this study will benefit English students and teachers. English teachers must increase their competence by incrasing mastery of their material, using appropriateand interesting media,using English language skills.
