LITERATURE STUDY OF THE ANALYSIS ON THE EFFECT OF THINK-PAIR-SHARE ( TPS) STRATEGY TOWARD STUDENTS' SPEAKING SKILL

Abstract

This research was aimed to find the effect of Think-Pair-Share (TPS) Strategy toward Students’ Speaking Skill. This research used Literature Study that involved two English journals. The first journal entitled Using the Think-Pair-Share Strategy to improve students’ speaking ability at STAIN Ternate had significant improvement after treated Think-Pair-Share Strategy to 20 students at the first year of STAIN Ternate used media problem and question. The second journal entitled Improving Speaking Confidence by Using Think-Pair-Share Teaching Strategy to High School Students had significant improvement and success to increase students’ speaking confidence after treated Think Pair Share Strategy to 30 Grade XII IPA C students SMAN 6 Bengkulu used teaching media projector, laptop, recorder camera. The result of analysis showed Think-Pair-Share Strategy significantly affects students’ speaking skill. It indicated that Ha was accepted and Ho was successfully rejected.
