THE ANALYSIS ON THE ADVANTAGES OF TV SERIES MOVIE AT THE SECOND GRADE OF SMK ISTIQLAL DELITUA MEDAN IN ACADEMIC YEAR 2020

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to analyze the advantages of TV series movie as media part in listening English subject. This interview was taken two days which started from Saturday, 9th to 10th May 2020. The subject of this research method are the second students and teacher of SMK Istiqlal Delitua Medan, academic year 2020.

The researcher found many students felt difficult to improve their listening skill inside or outside of class. Some previous research showed there are many learning process used interested media, and the result showed mostly students got easier to achieve and master vocabulary. It was TV series movie as one of easier media part and recommended for students to improve their listening skill. This media had used in every school, such as Chinese and Turkey. These country used it to improve their students’ listening skill and the result supported it and there was more significant learning outcomes achieved. The problem found in this research was the school does not have laboratory yet, so it was difficult to apply in listening classical technique. In fact the researcher found couples of students interested used this technique. It concluded TV series movie are good media applied at school.
