Abstract: The objetive of this research was “for the implementation of teaching speakingskill using MIMING GAMES to the second grade of SMP PGRI 9Tembung in academic year 2019-2020. The study was used the Classroom Action Research method to solve students’ problem. In this study method consisted of four phases: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Based on the phase that had did by the researcher, it could be summarized that, in general, this study was successfully in improving students’speaking skill by using miming games at the second grade of SMP PGRI 9 Tembung. The research design used experimental research. In this study conducted pre-test and post-test. Technique used to cellect data are documentation and tests. Researcher provide tests to measure students’ ability of class VIII-1and VIII-2. Number of subjects 30 students’. In analyzing data table IV which is higher than table III value. The results showed that students’ taught by using miming games in speaking skill get better grades than those without using simon says games. So, it means there is a significant influence on the speaking skill.
