dc.description.abstractThe objective of the research was to study communicative games applied to students’ speaking skill. In order to achieve the objective of the research, a literature study was carried out through reading, analyzing, and interpreting the studies discussing communicative game from journals, and document the found of the research showed the communicative games is very effective in the process of learning English Language. This research related that implementation of communicative games on students speaking skill has four important benefit namely: Games bring relaxation fun for students usually involve friendly competition, games help to make learning more memorable, they encourage the memorization of language that can be slotted in to various contexts, and game can encourage language to be more creative so that the game becomes interasting. Based on journal review one of the communicative games that really affected on students speaking skill because werewolf game is a conversation-based role-playing party game that trains students' proficiency in speaking English by playing characters in the werewolf game, so that they are more active when speaking in class and make students skilled at giving arguments when playing because of this werewolf game. Werewolf can be implemented in senior and junior level.en_US
