dc.description.abstractGender equality in education is the basis for human life. whereas gender is a difference in behavior between men and women who are socially formed. In this study what is discussed is the gender gap that occurs in schools by the sex of the teacher.This study aims to determine the gender disparities that occur in the learning process in schools by the gender of teachers in MTSS Nurussholih.The method used in this research is descriptive method, by collecting, describing and analyzing the data to get conclusions. The research instrument was carried out by studying documentation, analyzing and describing data.From the results of the study it can be concluded that male and female students applied different learning strategies. The strategies selected by males were mostly compensation strategy while females preferred social strategy. Females students like discussing when learning English and they performed well in social thinking and interaction, which can be categorized as social strategy. Male students, on the other hand, were active in expressing their idea, logical and better in coordination, which is characterized as compensation strategy.en_US
