THE EFFECT OF PICTURES WORD INDUCTIVE MODEL ON STUDENTS MASTERY IN VOCABULARY AT SMP SWASTA RAKYAT PANCURBATU

Abstract

The objective of this research entitled “The Effect Picture-Word Inductive Model On Students Mastery In Vocabulary At SMP Swasta Rakyat Pancurbatu ” was to find out the students’ mastery in vocabulary by using picture-word inductive model. This research applied an experimental method with two different treatments in finding the effect of picture-word inductive model on students mastery in vocabulary. The population from school was divided into two groups: they are experimental class and control class. The students in experimental class were taught with picture-word inductive model and the control class was taught without picture-word inductive model. Both groups were given same pre test and post test. The population of this research wastake from the VIII grade of SMP Swasta Rakyat Pancurbatuin Academic Year 2018/2019 which consists of two classes they were include 60 students. And the writer can make conclusion that teaching with picture-word inductive model can improve students’ mastery in vocabulary, it can be seem from the score the students achieved when they did some practices and test.
