THE INFLUENCE OF PICTURE MEDIA ON STUDENTS' ACHIEVEMENT IN PROCEDURE TEXT

Abstract

This research concern the discussion of The Influence Of Picture Media On Students’ Achievement in Procedure Text at SMA Negeri 2 Lubuk Pakam in school year 2017/2018. The problem of this research is “ to what extent is The Influence Of Picture Media On Students’ Achievement in Procedure Text?” The objective of this research is to find out the students by using picture median procedure text at SMA Negeri 2 Lubuk Pakam in school year 2017/2018. The population of this research was the students grade XI at SMA Negeri 2 Lubuk Pakam. The total samples were 40 students. This research was conducted by applying experimental method. There was essay test. The highest possible score 100 and it is considered as a perfect. The data were obtained by giving the answer’s sheet. Every paper of students were collected and corrected by researcher. The researcher identified the students ability based on the students’ answer. It was found that the students grade XI at SMA Negeri 2 Lubuk Pakam who was taught by using picture media in procedure text was better achievement than without picture media.
