Abstract: Thisstudyinvestigatedtheeffectofpodcastingtechnologymediaonstudents’ listeningskillin madrasahal-washliyahswastagedungjohor. Thisstudyusedquantitativeresearchmethod.The researcherselected86studentsinMadrasah AliyahSwasta Al-WashliyahGedungJohorinthe schoolyear2023/2024fromthetotalnumber,43studentsfromXBand43studentsfromclassX Ctobecomeasampleinthisresearch. Thisresearchemployedatest(pre-testandpost-test)asan instrumentandalsoobservationanddocumentationasacompliment.A listeningtestusedasthe research instrument.To analyzed data, theresearcher usedSPSS.thereis significant affectof using podcasttechnologymedia forstudents,especiallyinEnglishlisteningskill.studentswhotaught byusingpodcasttechnologymediagothigherscorethanstudentswhotaughtwithoutusing podcasttechnologymedia.Itcanbe seenthe meanscore of experimentalclasswas87while the meanscore of controlgroupwas76.podcastshave a greater impactonstudentslisteningskillthan traditionalclassroomsettings.Additionally, itwasshownthat teachinglisteningthroughpodcast media may beenhancedbecause learningEnglishmade thestudentsmore engaging,joyful,and enjoyable.Inconclusion,podcastscanhaveamajorimpactonkids' listeningcomprehensionatthe tenth gradelevel.
